Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on a variety of routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery documents.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS systems to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if necessary.
