Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all freight is protected and accounted for.
- Navigate delivery routes in the Los Angeles area and surrounding regions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device) and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-up and drop-off processes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Reliable vehicle and current medical card.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
