Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional/long-haul routes
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations and HOS
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and route optimization
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle cargo securely
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and route planning tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and climb into trailers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend schedules
