Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the Southeast
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Report any mechanical issues or road hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
