Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery deadlines across Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Communicate with dispatch teams to resolve route issues and provide real-time updates
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight and secure cargo for transit
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding highways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Previous experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
