Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs, vehicle inspections, and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper handling techniques
- Uphold professional conduct and represent company standards at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for regional routes and occasional overnight stays
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
