Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional night routes (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle condition
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklift training
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist in training new drivers on company procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability and strong time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
