Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork for DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required (Class A preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
