Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently throughout California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous daily vehicle inspection logs
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for precise loading/unloading procedures
- Document delivery status and resolve any transit discrepancies promptly
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Represent our company with professionalism during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route navigation
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
