Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when required
- Report road conditions, accidents, or delays immediately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment
- Familiarity with Ohio roadways and transportation hubs
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Strong customer service orientation
