Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for long-haul and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load delivery
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic navigation skills and route planning knowledge
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
