Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce student conduct policies per district guidelines
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reports
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist students with mobility needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License (Class D)
- CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with disabilities
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Prior child transportation experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning/afternoon shifts
