Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from schools and field trips
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Adhere to NC DOT and CMS transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete daily maintenance logs and incident reports
- Assist students with boarding/exiting and mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid NC Driver's License (CDL training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist disabled students
- Clear driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (provided)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Availability for 6 AM - 9 AM and 2 PM - 5 PM shifts
