Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Represent Milestone Transport with professional conduct
- Complete mandatory training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A preferred)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic navigation skills (GPS training provided)
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays
- No prior trucking experience required
