Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement and clear communication
- Adhere to traffic laws, school policies, and emergency procedures
- Document incidents and maintain accurate route/schedule records
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and transportation supervisors
- Participate in mandatory safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with School Bus Endorsement
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam
- Experience working with children or preferred customer service background
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage diverse student groups
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for early morning/afternoon shifts
