Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries across Missouri and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance troubleshooting
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight with temperature control and securement expertise
- Represent Midwest Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Kansas City metro area
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
