Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage daily route schedules to ensure on-time deliveries within Philadelphia metro area
- Load/unload merchandise with care and verify order accuracy upon delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery issues
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with GPS navigation and basic route planning tools
- Strong time management skills and commitment to punctuality
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Knowledge of Philadelphia street network and surrounding areas preferred
