Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes in Sacramento metro area
- Load/unload packages with precision and care using proper equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with minimum 2 years commercial experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation systems
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
