Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Memphis metro routes efficiently
- Load/unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Resolve delivery discrepancies and customer concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Memphis roadways and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
