Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers with any questions or concerns
- Use the Sacramento Rideshare app to accept ride requests and navigate efficiently
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete rides in a professional and courteous manner
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the dispatch team
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
- Must have a personal vehicle that meets all safety and appearance standards
- Proof of auto insurance and registration
- Smartphone with data plan and ability to use the Sacramento Rideshare app
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds if needed
