What You Will Do:
As a Courier Driver, you will be the face of our company. You will ensure our clients receive their packages on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Sacramento metro area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while navigating complex city routes.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any problems immediately.
- Handle packages with extreme care to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Provide excellent customer service, including accurate signatures and polite interactions.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to track progress and update status in real-time.
- Manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Sacramento area and local traffic patterns.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone for navigation and delivery tracking apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
