Responsibilities
- Transport cargo safely and efficiently from Detroit, MI to various locations in Ohio.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners during stops.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate any delays or issues to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on vehicle).
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Previous experience in logistics, freight, or delivery driving is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available for flexible scheduling and part-time hours.
