Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Long Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery procedures
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and time management
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using smartphone applications and GPS navigation
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
