Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trailers) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and route interactions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Columbus area roadways
