Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans within the Long Beach and greater Southern California area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and navigation in the Los Angeles area.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
