Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack) ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (Class A or B).
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
