Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B vehicles on local delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures for all deliveries.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Interact professionally with clients and resolve any delivery issues on-site.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUI or major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends if required.
