Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local routes within Georgia.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and vehicle interior.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and invoices.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
