Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork to ensure compliance.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and the public.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and arrive at delivery points on schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Commercial Driver's License required).
- Must possess a clean driving record and a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- At least 21 years of age to operate interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude toward customers.
- Willingness to travel to Texas locations for part-time assignments.
