Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within Chicago metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate efficiently through Chicago's urban and suburban routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- DOT medical certification current and in good standing
- Pass background check and drug screening
