Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area roadways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable transportation to depot and flexible availability
