Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Michigan and Ohio routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules and real-time route adjustments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Michigan/Ohio roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
