Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on established routes throughout Philadelphia and North Carolina.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly for transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Willingness to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Must possess a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
