Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries within Texas and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using provided equipment
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Report maintenance issues immediately and perform basic vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
