Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to designated addresses using a company-provided vehicle
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and issues
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with Portland metropolitan area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Reliable transportation to designated depot (company vehicle provided for deliveries)
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
