Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and compliant manner according to all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain accurate signatures upon completion.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and vehicle inspection reports.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Uphold a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
