Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Fresno County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address any route challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Fresno County roads and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
