Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across the Midwest region with punctual delivery
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain electronic logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Implement defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
