Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Chicago and surrounding areas
- Load/unload vehicles and verify shipment accuracyMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
