Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and food deliveries during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely service across Dallas and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs to prevent service disruptions
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and package handling
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols without exception
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Dallas geography and major thoroughfares
- Reliable transportation to/from shift location
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
