Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in Chicago metropolitan area during overnight shifts
- Efficiently load, unload, and verify package contents before and after transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes in real-time to avoid traffic and ensure timely deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and navigation systems
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
