Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload parcels efficiently using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
- Resolve delivery issues, such as missed addresses or damaged goods, with professionalism.
- Track delivery status using mobile applications and update logs in real-time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard Class C license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and reporting.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
