Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protectionMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Coordinate with hospital staff, labs, and pharmacies for timely pickups/dropoffs
- Perform vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Respond to urgent delivery requests with priority routing
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and recipients
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs
- Basic computer literacy for GPS navigation and digital documentation
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Customer service mindset and professional communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays
