Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies using company-provided specialized equipment
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive medical materials during transit
- Document all deliveries with electronic tracking systems and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities to ensure seamless pickup and drop-off operations
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to guarantee optimal performance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HIPAA compliance, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients during interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical/courier experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate medical facility environments
- Proficiency with mobile technology and electronic documentation systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Background check and drug screening required (provided at company expense)
