Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor as needed.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading, Delivery Receipts, and daily logs.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during pickup and delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
