Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary tracking system and mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling returns and special requests
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Safeguard all packages against damage, theft, or loss during transit
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust routes as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone delivery apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
