About the Role:
As a Local Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of Aloha Express Logistics, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages across Honolulu. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your reliability directly impacts customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize daily productivity
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Honolulu streets and neighborhoods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
