Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in Milwaukee and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with warehouse staff
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Milwaukee metro area
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication and tracking apps
- Professional communication and time management skills
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
