Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Houston
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery status and handle exceptions
- Assist with unloading/loading operations at distribution centers when required
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and navigation systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
