Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes and adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo with proper securing protocols
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and DOT guidelines
- Document delivery status and handle exceptions professionally
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safe driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
